In the Old Town itself, one may spend hours wandering in and out of narrow cobble streets lined with Roman relics and monuments and nowadays cafes.

The vicinity of the hotel is also favorable for those who love taking nature walks. You can amble along the riverbank of the Drava, or you can take off in the other direction to Lake Ptuj (Ptujsko jezero), the largest lake in Slovenia. The lake is much loved by birdwatchers and it has got cycle(ing) and walking paths round it. Another “golfing” walk can be sought after from here since this Ptuj Golf Course stands adjacent to the thermal complex is [sic] a green heart of quite a large area.
